ABOUT / BIOGRAPHY

Background
Biography
3 paragraphs

Researcher and former university lecturer with a private-sector background spanning Austria, Germany and Hungary — working where 3D GIS, precision surveying, civil engineering, physical geography and AI/ML overlap.

Over nearly two decades, I have led field campaigns in the Alps, documented Bronze-Age copper mines with terrestrial laser scanning, reconstructed prehistoric woodworking using spatial analysis, and contributed to hydrological studies in the Amazon basin — always combining rigorous fieldwork with advanced computational methods.

Today, as an independent engineer, I focus on consulting, AI/ML implementation and workflow automation for geospatial, industrial and engineering clients, while supporting research, proposal writing and academic collaboration at the frontier of geoscience, engineering sciences and heritage science.
